Have a look at our frequently asked questions from schools on HSPN
What Filtering systems can we provide?
  • Netsweeper via our UK based Cloud Systems
  • Smoothwall via an onsite appliance
Can Coconnect host our domain and DNS?

Yes we can, this is free of charge for .sch.uk domains

Can you copy our current filtering rules and report layouts to Coconnect Systems?

Yes we can, but with some slight changes depending on which filtering system you decide to use with us. We can take a look at your current filtering rules and report layouts during our planning phase and either copy these to your new Smoothwall appliance or implement into Netsweeper.

What kind of support do you have?

We’d like to say the best, with every support ticket you raise you will stay assigned to that engineer all the way through (even if the ticket is escalated), we don’t run 1st line or 2nd line triage, you will always go through to a fully trained support engineer. You can also speak to your account manager or service delivery coordinator for anything else.

Do you have reference sites?

Yes we do and we are happy to provide details, we have already been recommended highly on the Hampshire Network Managers forum for our support and service, alongside this we are proud to hold a 99% retention rate with our customers

Do you provide training?

Yes, we will provide you and any staff you require training on filtering and reporting systems, we will also arrange annual refresher training free of charge

Can I still access Hampshire systems?

It is our understanding from conversations with our other Hampshire schools that SAP is now cloud based and can be accessed from anywhere securely. A VPN service will be made available for access to EDDIE, we will assist your school in configuration of the VPN, and where this would be a standard change request there will be no charge for the configuration of our systems.
